I make art in my home studio in beautiful south Norfolk, and teach art all over East Anglia.

That's what I do now - but for 20 years I was cheerfully distracted into working in Norfolk Museums' learning and engagement team. I loved it but it wasn't the creative outlet I'd always wanted. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to make painting and teaching my full time work, so I know from my own experience that it's never too late to start creating.

Now I want to help other people to unleash their inner creativity, build skills and confidence, and fully enjoy all the benefits of making art. My clubs and classes are inclusive and nurturing for all abilities and ages and my latest project builds on that aim. As well as bringing joy to the people taking part, it brings measurable benefits to the communities they belong to. I'm calling it Community Art Clubs CIC.

You can read more about it here but the quick version is...

"Community Art Clubs support people in rural communities to create and experience art. We run art clubs and classes, organise art trips and help local people get involved in their communities.

All the research shows this doesn't just help the artmakers - it helps build stronger, healthier communities, so it's good value for everyone."
