£45 GET STARTED WITH OILS & WATERCOLOURS... Beginners painting and drawing workshops at Artpocket Studios in Norwich. Watercolours and oils beginners workshops are ideal for beginners or people who are nervous about trying painting. In a friendly, relaxed atmosphere we will have a go at different ways to apply paint using a range of methods, papers and brushes. These 2.5 hour workshop will be packed with straightforward explanations and fun exercises, and the opportunity to create your own mini masterpiece using the techniques you've learned. You'll leave brimming with confidence and enthusiasm for the gentle medium of watercolours. Everything you need for the workshop will be provided, but if you have your own materials, you're welcome to bring them along. Currently three courses: Watercolours 1 - Jan 17 & Feb 14 , 2.30-5pm. Watercolours 2 - Jan 24 & Feb 21, 2.30-5pm. Oils- Jan 10, Feb 7 or Mar 14, 2.30-5pm. Drawing courses will start later in 2026. Further details available on the venue website, www.artpocket.co.uk.

SKETCHBOOKING DAY COURSES Considered and reflective day courses for wellbeing and pathfinding at The Still Room, Keswick Hall, South Norfolk. The Still Room is a brand new venue. At this early stage it's probably best to contact me direct for more information about the new courses planned for 2026.

PODCAST Art Is Good For You! The podcast spreading the message that art helps with healing and happiness, no matter who you are. This link will take you to my YouTube channel; the podcast is also available on Spotify and several other platforms.

£180 MODERN MASTERS ACRYLICS Option 1: 10-4 Feb 11th & 12th. Option 2: 6-8.30 Feb 18, 19, 25 & 26. For all abilities: 4-session recreational acrylics painting course at Artpocket Studios in Norwich. In each 2.5 hour session you will explore the work and techniques of a painter from a different modern art movement: Monet- Impressionism, Van Gogh- Post-Impressionism, Modigliani- Expressive Primitivism, and Picasso- Cubism. Using acrylic paints and mediums in a series of fun, guided exercises, you will try out their methods and produce your own painting inspired by their work. Led by experienced art teacher and former museum educator Rachel Duffield, this course not only offers a supportive and practical learning environment, it also gives a glimpse of how the world each painter inhabited, informed their work. £270 THE ARTISTS ALMANAC 6-week artists' journalling experience in a small, close group of like-minded artists Course begins Monday 19th January 2026. Contact me or click on my Artists Journal webpage for more info. The pink link will take you away from my website and over to Eventbrite to book.

PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS You can commission portraits from me. I paint in oils or draw in soluble crayons, from photos because that's the most practical alternative to long sittings. Please get in touch with any questions - no obligation.

£25 COPYCATS AT THE CAT HOUSE Fun, cat-themed painting workshops at The Cat House in Norwich. Inspired by famous artists you'll paint a different feline masterpiece each time, surrounded by the twenty gorgeous pusscats who live there. First drink included. COMMUNITY ART CLUBS Accessible, inclusive, regular art clubs in rural areas. The short answer is: just turn up! You can come along as a participant or book a taster session to set up a new club in your area. Dates and venues are published on our facebook page 'Community Art Clubs CIC ' and general info is available on the Community Art Clubs page on this website.

BESPOKE GROUP WORKSHOPS All abilities, bespoke art and craft classes and workshops for wellbeing and leisure learning. Examples are: art workshops in art galleries, art courses in museums, 'sip and paint' for local business teams, peg dolls for hobby groups.
